Cataract removals are simple yet life-changing procedures which restore sight and can remove blindness almost instantly. And yet, many people around the world are living with blindness simply because they cannot afford the medical expense of treatment. Capt. Muazzam Ali Shaheed Welfare Foundation periodically holds free eye camps for the poor and deprived people of Pakistan, to help avoid blindness by undertaking eye check-ups and cataract operations. In the past, we have conducted thousands of examinations and cataract surgeries and have helped thousands restore their eyesight from as little as £50 per eye.

This Ramadan we will purchase Qur’ans and gift them to the less fortunate, local mosques and madrasahs where they are unable to source their own Qur’ans for worshipers and students.

A Masjid is at the heart of any local Muslim community. Sadly, not every Muslim community is fortunate enough to have access to a nearby Masjid with all the necessary facilities and amenities.

Muazzam Foundation is on a mission to change that, as we work in remote, isolated, and impoverished communities providing access to their very own Masjid.
