While it’s an inevitable part of life, losing someone you love can be one of the most painful experiences you’ll ever have to endure. Widowhood is a condition of extreme distress; very little help is provided by the government, with no one to care for them and no family to support them. Help lift widows out of poverty by providing monthly stipends as a means of support, food packs, cover child and healthcare expenses, and empower them with skills to become financially self-sufficient for their families and live a respectable life. Your support and donations can help us to deliver these services and help grieving women and children.

What challenges does widowhood bring? As widows move through their own experiences of grief, loss, or trauma after the death of a spouse, they may also face economic insecurity, discrimination, stigmatization, and harmful traditional practices on the basis of their marital status, especially in developing countries like Pakistan. Our widow stipends include food packs only, as this is one basic need that they all mutually agree makes their life that little easier. Financial aid is for those with no source of income (including offspring not working and/or too young) and covers utilities, rent, clothing, food packs and more.
